Urine Sample Bottle

I've heard of a surgery who are charging 25p for a sample bottle that has to be purchased from the adjoining pharmacy.

Anyone else come a cross this ?

I've paid more than that at different chemists, I think 65p was the most expensive.

If the Surgery has requested a Urine sample from you, then at least they should provide the bottle free of charge. Incidently, since you have paid for the bottle, do they let you have the bottle back again !!.

10 for £5.54 or 1 for £1.53 on Amazon, but that does include delivery

We get given one for free from the doctor.

When we changed doctors back in 2007, they gave us these little containers free., and told us to keep them for later use.

I was recently invited to provide a sample and was furnished with a ziplock bag containing a pair of gloves and a sample bottle all FOC.

I've never heard of charges being levied.

In years gone by, you provided your own receptacle, old pill container, medicine bottle, lord knows what else.
In my early days of being pregnant, I recall taking a sample in a Shipphams meat paste jar.
