My car was broken into last night. It's a company car so the the company insure it. What do I do about claiming my personal goods that were in the car - does my house insurance cover it?

no,your household insurance does not cover it,the car policy,should cover it,i would think the policy would be fully comp,but you would have to speak to them regarding excess etc.
Your household contents policy may provide some cover if you have 'all risks' or outside the home cover. This may be limited - check your policy as not all car insurance policies - even fully comp - cover personal effects.
