Because some damn fool newspaper has said so, causing panic buying at the pumps now, so a shortage over bank holiday will be justified due to the shortage of petrol.

What do you guys pay for it over there? Today, it's $1.03 (.63 pounds) a litre in the Toronto area.

i remember about 6 years or so ago when it went mental. couldnt get petrol anywhere in town. Luckily I walk everywhere and bloke fills up the car so not too bad

Yes, stewey, but in the UK everything is 6 times closer.

And 2 over 6 reduces to one third; therefore, you only have to drive a third as much as we do............Good point, hc:)

Autogas (lpg) is only 65p a litre but they seem to have the price tagged to petrol so it goes up anyway!
