How can I go about legaly showing Films in the UK and paying royalties

I want to show films in a small commercial premises and I would like to nknow what licences I would need, and how to legaly show films (eg pay royalties, who do I pay?) and how much this is likley to cost?

I dont know whether this would help but I watched a program a couple of months ago and the man behind EASYJET decided he wanted to set up a cinema.

He asked the film companies if he could show their and they said no but legally they have to because of the Big buisness not letting the little buisness's compete thing.
