Is it illegal to hack the E mail or social networking account of someone else and then send abusive messages to people from those accounts and also post revealing pictures on the networking account, of the person who owns it?

My friend's partner, who is having various sexual relationships with other women has done just this, including posting a revealing photo of her on her frontpage of the networking site. She cannot remove it, as he has changed her password.

Has she contacted the networking site to have it removed?

Can she prove it was him?

Hacking is an offence in itself and potentially slander.

This guy was arrested for hacking (and, I would assume breaking in to premises)...

This might help as well...
