Hi does anyone know with the new iphone if you can stop a text msg automatically appearing on the main screen? Being forgetful i sometimes leave mine on my desk in work & return to find it has been read as it has flashed up by more than a few ppl including my boss! Thanks in advance

No you can't, but you can put a lock on the iPhone that gets set after 1 minute for example (in the settings).

Thus, it would pop up saying "text message: Joe Bloggs", but not the message itself.
