The lenses are all the same, it's just the frames that vary in price.

I bought some cheap varifocals and the actual reading area was to small and they wouldnt do anything about it so I had to buy another pair double the price and throw the cheap ones away so beware

Order them over the net. I get my glassess from glassesdirect.co.uk. A lot cheaper than going into a shop.

trouble is when buying varifocals is you have to be careful of the size of the frame because if you have small frames the lenses are obviously going to be small and therefore not much space for both types of lenses in the one eye, hope i made myself clear, i know what im trying to say. the optician has to pinpoint where the centre of your eye is so that it is inline with the lens, fadeout do you buy varifocals online???

Because of the complexity of getting it right I find it better to have 2 pairs of glasses. One for reading and the other longer distance.

I wouldn`t get my spectacles from a web-site, except perhaps sun glasses as an optician can find out many health problems with an eye test, so don`t do it for your healths sake.

i tried it to see the price difference, ive just bought new glasses and got a free pair and it didnt cost me as much as the online ones did.
