niceboy ultrasonic remotes haven't been used for years!!

It's either a fault with the TV or someone is standing outside your window with a remote winding you up

Try putting something over the IR sensor on the TV to cover it, if it still keeps changing channel you have a fault in the TV
Nothing wrong with flicking channels, I p!ss the missus off all the time doing it lol

Still changing covered the sensor and tried everything i can think of it has been going on since 10am this morning can't see someone standing outside 4 that long flicking channels!
if you've covered the sensor and it's still changing channels then it can only be a fault in the TV, time to go and see the nice TV repair man.

And yes I agree, since 10am would make them a very persistent wind up merchant.
just another quick thought, if it has buttons on the TV for changing the channels try pressing those and giving them a bit of a wiggle, maybe one has got a little stuck
i was going to say that baout the remote, maybe something, a crumb or water has got inside it can you take it apart or have you another remote you could try
you never know maybe its someone from the other side( iif there is one?!) trying to tell you something. i had a picture fly of the wall on friday for no apparent reason at all. going to see a medium nxt wk!
