I have a Vokera Linea 28 combi boiler. The problem is on the supply of hot water. When a hot tap is turned on the burner flame fluctuates continually from full flame to no flame. Any help would be most welcome.

The boiler is designed to modulate like this. High flame to heat the water to temperature then small flame to maintain temperature. The temperature of the water is monitored by a sensor which modulates the the gas from small to large flame. The problem with yours is that the small flame burner pressure is'nt set, hence cutting off. This is something that only a corgi engineer can correct. Should only cost you a standard one hour service (although it only takes 5 minutes to do)

When the flame is off can you still here the fan running?

Thanks for the reply,
The fan still runs o.k. but still getting hot water cut off after a minute or so. I shall take your advice and try and find a decent boiler engineer ( not easy these days).
