Winter Fuel Allowance

have you had your Winter Fuel Allowance yet, if not do you know when you would you expect it.
I haven't received mine yet, and wondered if one needs to contact the DWP to check.

We received our letters a few weeks ago. We haven't received payment as yet but it was on the news that rollout of payments only started 23rd Nov. So there is plenty of time.
Supposing this won't be your first payment I'd give it a couple of weeks your letter could have been lost.

perhaps will leave it another week or so and then call them if nothing happens.

I think they’re filtering through now although in the past it’s always been around mid November

The date of receipt seems completely random from year to year and my husband and I never get ours on the same date. No need to contact anyone or stress about it.

Do you mean the second part of the payment those on any kind of benefits we’re getting ( £350) or the WFP Emmie , we aren’t on benefits so we get the £600 per household , me £250 and OH £350 as he’s over 80

I think they actually have until the middle of January to pay it but usually it is done towards the end of November or December. Ours not arrived yet but we have had the letters.

its the winter fuel allowance payment....
i am not so much stressing but wanted it sorted before i go into hospital next week. If nothing then will leave it for a few weeks.

I've had the notice 3 weeks ago but nowt yet. still waiting for the October fuel allowance though I have had November's through and still 'living' on it.

Not had ours but not stressing as we have got it as late as January some years.
