Oh so much.
Almost finished my design for a respirator made out of a bicycle pump and a hamster wheel, but can't find a hamster.
reusable toilet tissue
I'd like to invent something that ties steel mats together without being bent double all day. Alas, it's beyond me.

Reusable toilet wipes - aka Family Cloth is already invented and divides the world in opinion.
A duvet that inserts itself into the cover.....a boon for short folk like me who have a super king sized bed and usually end up inside the cover with the duvet.... :-(
A machine that you can put all your washed and dried clothes in and they come out at the other end, pressed and folded nicely.
Newton didn't "invent" calculus. He developed it from ideas and concepts which had existed since ancient times, e.g. Archimedes' method of exhaustion to calculate the area of a circle, etc.

As above re Leibniz.
Brilliant, Tilly! I suppose a well trained man could do that...but a machine would be much more reliable.... ;-)
Newton gets the credit, Archimedes screwed again.
I was thinking of a sock detector but then realised that's why I used to safety-pin socks together before they were introduced to the eater-of-socks
I see what you did there, Douglas.
You're wasted on this site.

A well trained man could also put it all away in the appropriate place, Gness. Good idea there. x
First find a well trained man though, Tilly..... ;-)

I would love to invent a very fine sharp pointed sewing needle with an eye that grew huge as the thread approached it and then shrank back again..... if only..... :-(
any of these any use, Gness?

No. I don't want to tie potato sacks, rory.
Did use them in a pre-fab yard once. Couldn't get me hands in the cages.
Wow! I didn't know those existed, Jno. Thank you. I have bought self threading needles but some of the work I do causes the thread to pull out of the top. That wouldn't happen with these. Thank you again...x
Don't tell me you're using pliers?
Airbags for the back of vans to keep the load stable. I'm surprised they don't already exist.
