Saturday. Wall to wall cloud and comparatively cool this morning. Some rain during the night, more to come too. Typical, I'm on the canal all day. The up side is my mate's wife is coming with us and they are treating me to dinner at the TA when we finish. I'm looking forward to that.

Tiggy was out for his supper then went back to bed.

Thanks, boaty. Yes, I will have. I've been getting really stressed about this wedding, which is ridiculous when there are terrible things going on in the world, and this is a happy occasion. I'm trying to calm down. :)

As good as I can be Minty. Just had a crafty ciggie before "She who must be obeyed" gets up, whilst doing a bit of dead heading. Fancy a bit of bacon and eggs for breakfast so may get that set up.

fine ta...had a call yesterday around 11am from friends saying they would like to pop round for a bit....bit of panic as they are vegans...quick dash to shop to source something..anything I could give them..surprisingly little...but found vegan cracker things and some vegan spread things..beetroot and mint, very nice...humous..and a chunky guacamole...bit of salad..vegan tortillas and a quick fresh fruit salad with coconut milk cream, which was nice too...tea/coffe with soya milk, not me...and vegan granola biscuits... wonder what they live on vegetarian is bad enough.....and to be honest neither of them look very healthy, and FAR too thin so as to be scrawny....looking better weather wise today so expect to be cutting everyone's grass later
