Friendship bracelets were a big thing, the ones you made yourself out of lots of threads.
Conkers and marbles.
My daughter and her friends played "elastics". Dozens of elastic bands joined together then used something like a skipping rope but you hooked your leg over the "rope" which got higher and higher.
Playing jacks
collecting beads, everyone brought a tin of the to primary school to swop!
winky dolls. Anyone remember those?
Playing pick-a-sticks
playing five stones.
For my sons, they collected erasers,
smurf figures, matchbox cars., football players cards.
Skipping ropes
cat's cradle
those where you say rhymes/songs while clapping each others hands (if you know what i mean)
jacks
Hula hoops
Oh hoola hoop was another craze, as was rubik cubes. and playing cats cradle. We made our own entertainment in those days.

I've still got an original Rubik's cube that I got as a teenager.

scented erasers we collected and swapped.
I remember digging out the headlights from my brothers cars as they were made from real sparkly diamond type beads which I swapped with my friends.
