Curious Calendar Entry....

I'm updating my calendar and have just spotted that my iPad has noted my birthday.

I'm not sufficiently addled (yet) that I need reminding of my birthday but am curious as to how it knows the date.

I don't recall giving my DOB when setting up the iPad.

Nobody else uses my iPad so it's not that.

I've had my email address for years and cannot recall providing my DOB, might have done though.

Had a strange thing t'other day, uploaded cv onto a job site, then went to register and address and phone number were already there (was already there?)
Presume they'd taken it from the cv, I hope so anyway.

Out of curiosity I have just checked mine - my ipad knows my birthday but my iPhone doesn't. No idea how but I think it is linked to FB as a freind's wedding (which I have been invited to as an 'event') is the only other thing on my calendar.

Thanks Sherrard, I'll have a little dig about to see if there are any other dates that have mysteriously appeared that are linked to FB.

Just checked my calendar on the iPad and it hasn't put my birthday in, it's registered on FB but I can't remember if it's on my gmail account.
