not being computer literate could anyone give me a rough idea of the timesof flash drive. ie 1gb 2gb 4gb up to64gb. how many hours/mins etc roughly.thanks.

It depends on the quality of what you are putting on it. A song is roughly about 5MB, but if you were looking a putting movies on it, then you are looking at around 1GB for a decent quality movie.

More is always better, so if you can afford it, get the highest.

Media like music and video can be of different quality.

Obviously the lower the quality the smaller the file, so the higher the quality the larger the file.

Songs of course can also be of different lengths, so a 2 minute track will take up less space than a 10 minute track. And a one minute video will take up less space than a 15 minute video.

So it is very very difficult to give an exact guide to how many songs or how many videos you can get on a memory stick.
