I had some lovely presents for xmas but the one I find the most useful is a 'Speaking Clock' knowing my eyes are getting dodgy & I have difficulty seeing our clocks my H bought me this speaking clock, I just press a button on the top & it speaks the time. I take it to bed with me too. Brilliant
I also had a speaking watch.
What was your most USEFUL pressy?
No mp, it does say "The time now is 9 -45am (or whatever time it is) but if you press the button twicw it will say the day date & year. A lovely male voice too.Brilliant. (I call him Roger)
Two boxes of Saffron Rowan? blimey you must have afluent friends or relatives...
Yes I'll be round for risotto, I have to use the poor mans Saffron - Turmeric. (sniff)
I'd never thought of asking for expensive ingredients before but she went a bit mad a small sachet would have done I've got 10g I think thats a lot of saffron
I had a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, I'm not sure it's the most useful (I don't htink I had anything really useful) but it's definately been the most popular. Even my Mum an avid tea drinker has suddenly developed a taste for latte and people just pop in for a hot chocolate. I'm going to have to start lying and tell them I've run out of pods or they are going to cost me a fortune.
Meant to say OH is blind and he has a speaking watch, it has a nice voice too it might be your Roger. He used to have a small talking digital clock but that had the voice of a small Korean child and was rather annoying.
