Like a graduate, but not. I don't think you can graduate from a course.

Where I work, we have a six month stipend programme for new staff. What noun can be used to describe a person who has finished that programme succesfully?

Any ideas will be welcomed. thanks.

I'd use "graduate of our stipend programme", can't think of anything else.

I've had a look in Roget's Thesaurus, and no luck there. I've also looked at my own certificates, and none of them use a noun such as you are seeking, mungbeanz. They all say something like "... has been awarded .../... has completed the ... course." It looks as if you may have to compromise, and use some kind of short phrase.

Thanks for the answers. I suspected there was no such word, but thought I'd test AB's language skills.
Technically - if they have 'made the grade' they are a Stipend Programme Graduate.
Chambers defines graduate as:"anyone who has completed a course in an educational or training establishment" so you should be fine with that, as long as you stipulate that they are graduates of a particular course to distinguish them from university graduates.
Post-probationer?
If a piece of paper is awarded for success, the student might be called a certificate-holder...he/she might actually object to being described as 'certified', given the insanity connection...or a diplomate. Other than that, there is no real objection to graduate.
