i'd like to buy a laptop but don't know what to go for. I want to use it mainly for internet, email and word processing with some spreadsheets. i like iBooks but my husband has a pc and i don't know if i could get a wireless broadband connection which work for both a mac and a pc. would make most sense to get something compatible with his machine when it comes to printers, software etc?
The iBook will connect very easily to your wireless broadband network. All the new iBooks have Airport Extreme built in. The files which you create with Microsoft Office are fully compatible with the PC version - however, you will need to get a copy of Office X (very cheap if you buy the education version).
