Fly Tipping

Hi, turns out i have been a bad person! I have a woods behind my house and i have on occasion put plant clippings and general garden waste in there. I did think it was ok to throw bio-degradable stuff into the woods. Turns out i was wrong and some kind person has reported me. Was just wondering if any one else has been through this what happened to them and what kinda fine/punishment i will get?
