try cream cleaner, or astonish paste. buy one of the ceramic cleaning kits with the scraper and see if that works
Cif cream cleaner & elbow crease.
My ceramic hob is at least 7 years old and looks like new.

I use one of those stainless steel ball things and soapy water - gets everything off easily without scratching.

This sort of thing - from any supermarket

I use a product called Hob Brite, a few quid in tescos, brilliant, removes anything fromt he ceramic hob.
You have to be careful what you use on ceramic hobs. Most things are OK, but ordinary washing-up liquid (for example) gradually 'dulls' the shine and you can get special cleaning chemicals for them. Don't know where you'd find them (it's been several years since I had one), but you used to find them in Wilkos, B&Q, etc.

If you have your original manual, it should say in there which cleaners you can and can't use.
If you can't get it off, don't worry - it's no use crying over spilt mik......

Sorry, I am stuck at home ill and I am getting very bored now.
I used to use Hob bite too when we had a ceramic hob. fanatastic stuff! x
yer brillo pad, its just a case of scrubbing at it

hob brite dont think you should use a brillo it will scatch the surface
do it with a stanley knife
Fairy Power Spray is definitely the best, just spray it on, leave for 5 mins and it will all come off, ceramic or saucepans, casserole dishes etc. Works great.
with my ceramic hob I got a metal thing with a (stanley type) blade on the end - it just scrapes everything off, with no damage to the glass then I just wipe it off with a cleaner. It doesn't scratch or damage the glass in any way...
