My kitchen sink is approximately 10 years old with a plug that is operated by a small knob and cable. It is 8 cm in diameter and has an adjustable screw about 7 cm long and the rubber seal has perished. Does anyone out there know where I can get a replacement?

Many thanks Markja. I didn't realise that the rubber seal was replaceable. I shall start looking.
