Cedarwood in any way shape or form.
I bought some balls from Betterware a couple of years ago to put with my clothes and they have worked a treat.
I think you can also get them from Lakeland and Kleenezee as well.

thanks for answering . grannyg you may be right years ago i bought cedar wood balls .just for the nice smell,threw them out when the smell faded now my clothes are motheaten must buy some more.bluevern i thought thats when they fed at night in the dark,and stevesxx do cats eat them
mothballs are disgusting and should be banned.
I once sat on a plane next to an elderly gent who was "suited & booted" and the suit stunk of mothballs and I felt sick and couldnt eat or drink for the whole 8 hr journey.
