Sorry guys but over the last few months, every time i've tried to reply to someones gardening questions, i've had almost every post i've answered either contradicted or reworded by logman.

Unfortunately, the post in the "climbers" thread has been the last straw. I've given my heart felt reply and it has been accepted. But logman still feels the need to stick his beak in and undermine my replies. This is not the first time he's done this by a long shot.

So. i've had enough. No more photos, no more advice or help....it's over to logman.

I've enjoyed my time with you and sad to leave but mind is made up.

Andy, I am really sorry that you have decided to depart.I have always enjoyed reading your posts, they have made me think about what to do in my garden, even though I may not have jumped directly onto the thread. It is plain to me that you speak from a place of practical know how. I for one would prefer it if you could be tempted to remain and share your breadth of experience with those who wish to recieve it. I will of course respect your decision in this matter. Can I just say thanks for the ideas that I have taken on board so far. Miss ya!

oh andy I'm so sorry you feel this way. Your comment recently when you added....
now waiting for logman to come along & contradict me ...
made me laugh out loud & I thought it was just a bit of friendly rivalry.

There's room for all on here and with the all spring tasks about to take off (hopefully) the gardening questions will increase. I'm just an enthusiastic amateur so I can only usually help where I've had experience....

please reconsider.....??

andy, I can fully understand your point, and its a real shame, you've given some good advice, and ponted me right a couple of times, also I, along with many others have taken on board your advice to others. I was a subscrier on that post, after you, but mainly to agree with what you said, and yes, even though logman was entitled to post, I thought that he did go a bit overboard, mabe if he sees how upset you are, he'll apologise.

you are a challenge to him. i bet he looks foward everytime he logs on to see what you posted. just think about how happy you always make him and how much more happier you make others when you respond to their questions or threads or......
life is too short to let these trivial things upset you. do you see how much support you have? your friends responded.
some of us think we know everything and annoys those of us who really know everything.

Andy don't let logman win the day, you are a better man than he will ever be, I also could name someone who does the same to my posts, but rise above it. It's like neighbours or people at work ... there is always one that will put a spanner in the works. Think again, you are much appreciated.

Oh dear, thought this might be in the wrong category when I read the heading, but on reading your post, can see how upset you are Andy.

Everyone has their own opinions on here & some more forceful than others, but I really can't see why you should leave AB - you're too valuable to do that, along with logman.

We don't know each other personally (thank goodness at times), so try not to take it personally - life's too short!

Tomorrow is another day, so try to think positive & soldier on regardless!

Hi Andy, im so sorry that you feel like this, but would just like to say . . . . . . Chill out Man!!!! OK, OK, so Logman is annoying, but you got to remember he's only got a small manhood and it makes him feel good by putting others down cos lets face it, no one would go down on him! unless there has been posts removed i cant understand where you are coming from at all (or going to for that matter :)) in the climbers thread, you both give advice, and the other poster agrees with you on at least 1 point. I cant understand the problem at all ... would somebody point out the offending phrases/sentances to me to help me understand?

you both seem to know a lot, but surely there is room for more than one ego in here?

I've only just found you andyjevs, and your advice and your advice alone made me feel so so very happy to be having a wonderful scented beautiful flowering garden and climbers........ you gave me the most amazing night scented flock seeds, and just the name alone conjures up beauty and scent in the air. trichlospermum jasminoides, who else gives their true latin names. I do hope i've spelt that properly for you, I feel like my favorite teacher has left before i got to learn and that makes me feel speechless and a little lost....

Please don't go Andy, your advice is always good. I don't really think Logman means to undermine you, but you are both keen to give advice. Just because the advice differs sometimes doesn't necessarily mean one is wrong. I'm sure he'd be gutted if he knew he'd made you feel this way.
I hope you change your mind, but if not, thanks for all the great reads.

Hi andy,I dont know a lot about gardening....but...when the summer comes,I sit out there ,smelling all the wonderfull plants and flowers...got me old chimenea going...few beers...and I stay there till 4:o-clock in the morning sometimes.you just cant beat nature..!!but what I do know is,you've give a lot of people on here some magic advice..(and i always read yer threads)your an expert..and we all respect you.You make a lot of regulars.really happy....!! Andy - please don't leave us. I'm a keen gardener myself and always enjoy reading the answers you give on gardening questions as there's always something interesting to learn from them, even if the question being asked isn't relevant to me at the time. Part of the pleasure of regular access to this site is learning from other people's experience and your advice would be a great loss to all of us. Please just give yourself a nice Easter break away from us and come back in a little while with all your useful advice.

Andy, don't be silly and please stop behaving like a spoilt boy! I wouldn't have lasted 4 years on this site if I'd had a tantrum every time someone upset me - or knew more than I did....and that's all the time!!!

We are not here to make ourselves look good but to try and help each other and hopefully have a bit of fun along the way.
