Bandsaw Problem

After changing the old broken blade for a new one, it seems that no electricity is getting through.

Done all the obvious stuff but to no avail, any ideas?

I suspect one needs to be there.

 

No safety cut off switch having issues is there ? All guards if any in place ? Any internal fuses you weren't aware of ? You say you've done the obvious but I can only suggest using a neon screwdriver or equivilent to check how far the electric gets.

Little red 'reset' button on the motor Chip?

Okay, plugged in and switched on the wall socket, mains on, reset tested, and fuse was good to go, but I suspect it maybe

the on/off switch.
