Good morning. We have been promised yet another hot sunny day. It is still quite breezy so that is keeping the temperature down.
Shopping trip today. Not that I enjoy it that much but it is a trip out and I want to call in at the library.

Anyone got anything exciting planned?

Morning, Lady-J. OH is dropping me off at work in my car and then taking it for a full service. I'm off to Hereford tonight to see my parents - I haven't seen them for absolutely ages. Back early tomorrow and then we're taking his parents out for dinner tomorrow to say thank you for looking after Ratboy Slim.

I must stop off at the ATM. My car booting friend from work picked up a vintage unopened bottle of Youth Dew (Estee Lauder) perfume and she's letting me have it for £15. It's my mums favourite so I'll put it in her bag of pressies to take down with me.

Another busy weekend for you by the sound of it.
I used to live fairly near Hereford and thought it was a lovely place. I miss my trips there. I expect your mum will love her unexpected pressie. I know I would.

Thanks we are both fine though I seem to have a lack of energy the last few days. Will have to be stricter with myself.

I've been a bit lethargic the last few days. To be honest I'm suffering badly with the perimenopause which still appears to be a source of ridicule for some but its not a pleasant thing to endure. Severe tiredness and fatigue, hot flushes, insomnia, aching muscles, brain fog, confusion, breathlessness on exertion, severe back pain, night time leg cramps, bloating and loss of appetite are a daily way of life for me now and I wonder if it will ever end.

Nothing too strenuous in the heat of the day, but keeping luiquid levels up.

Good morning Chip. I have never bought groceries that way but it must save you a lot of energy not wandering round shops and of course you don't have to go back and forth.

Sorry to hear all that LadyCG. It is nasty and it does seem to go on forever but it does pass and then you will be back to being 'yourself' agaon. Hope it doesn't last too long.

Now that's a very silly thing to do if you don't mind me saying so. How on earth did you manage that? Have you received treatment and painkillers?

well I was bullfighting and the bull got the jump on me
or
I ran into the road to save a little kitten when I got hit by a bus
Or
I slipped whilst putting my slippers on and hit the bed post

no treatment only painkillers and I even carry on working 12 hour nights

or you were hang-gliding and ran into a pylon.

I think you have to be careful that your ribs don't damage any internal organs so best to get checked out.

yes I did Monday there's 5 hours I wont be getting back but got 24 codeine tablets take up to 6 a day the ribs should be back to normal in 6 to 8 weeks ???

Morning Birdies. Another scorcher due up here after the morning breeze has gone. Off to Llandudno today for a bit of shopping and a bite of lunch. Bleedin painful broken ribs Johnny. I broke 1 go karting. Honest. The codeine is going to cause constipation and that coupled with broken ribs is even more agony. Coughing or sneezing will make your brain pop. Get some glycerine suppositories in my friend, you will not regret that.

Very dim and dull here in Sta Eulalia! Have a big washing day planned but may rain. I get 2 free hours of electricity so can dry it, but that's not until 7 at night! and I have little energy by then.
