Honeysuckle

Which honeysuckle plant has the best perfume and doesnt grow too rapid. I have one but it has no smell at all. Thanks

Some scented ones are not prolific. I was given 2 different cuttings which I planted in my parents garden, 1 scented and 1 with prettier flowers. I intertwined them and they produced the desired effect. I never knew their botanical names.

My dad had them and the smell was gorgeous. I had one in my garden when I moved here and was dissapointed that it doesnt smell.

Crocus says it is "Fabulously fragrant" so looks as if you can't go wrong. Fab for bees as well, brilliant. Well done.

Some are night scented, to attract moths.
I would go for Lonicera americana
