Have had this plant for 4 years and left it to go green. At Christmas it was lovely and bushy and moved it from the dining room for a short while as we had company a dI didn’t want it to be broken. In the spare room it seemed fine . Brought it downy and repeated the procedure a couple of days later? It then lost all its leaves (completely shrivelled and died). I can’t understand why as it was only a short time and the bedroom was warm not cold, ! What does any one think please.?

Plants are finicky things. Took me a while to find a spot that my rubber plant would cope with, even if it isn't anywhere I can really enjoy it. (I'm sure it did it on purpose.)

Could be draughts, wrong temperature, too much or too little watering, to dark or too light. Anything really.
Are they the ones that flower at Xmas?

They are incredibly high-maintenance and my guess it was too warm when you moved it not too cold.
Baths, yes these are the ones that are carefully prepared by nurserymen, to coincide with the Xmas market.
They can be difficult to grow if the conditions change suddenly.
