I love the Tiger Plant - Tigrida but have found it difficult to find these in the shops - any ideas when these are due to be in the shops. Any growing / caring tips also for these beautiful yet single day flowering plants.

I bought a pack of those bulbs a couple of years ago from a garden centre but only one little beauty came up, so it was a little disappointing.
Most bulbs/corms, I try to grow tend to get dug up by rabbits or squirrels etc but I have been more successful with toad lilies (Tricyrtis) which are similar looking and look great in a shady woodland setting. Trilliums might do well in a similar location, if the soil is acidic.
This mail-order supplier starts sending out bulbs from the beginning of March:

(That link was found via the Royal Horticultural Society website, so the firm should be reliable. The prices look good as well!)
