mine is shooting well. Give the stem a bit of a scrape and see if its green under the bark.

I planted a small gooseberry 'hinnonmaki' a red berried form, that I picked up from the 99p shop, about 3 weeks ago.
No signs of leaves on mine yet but I've not given up hope yet. The shock of being planted can set them back a bit.
