My Lovely Boy

Just wanted to big up my lovely eldest son. Caught him loitering in the kitchen this morning and asked him if he was ok. In his trembly 14 year old voice he told me that he had something for me and produced two bags of Revels (my absolute fav) from his coat pocket and then gave me the hugest huge ever. I nearly cried :)

I don't like 'proper' chocolate - I like rubbish chocolate and kids sweets.

The spy thing was ok. Thing 2 got sent home poorly (this was Friday and it was their birthday party yesterday so I had to take care) - the day was all themed and real police officers turned up to arrest the suspect. Sounds like they had loads of fun. Thank you for asking.

Not sure what touched me more - the gesture or that I am now allowed to hug him again :)

Aw I'm sure thing 2 will be fine soon. Do they still have those coffee flavoured things in those bags of Revels ?.

Thing 2 is fine, had a blast yesterday. Revels seem to have dumped the coffee - now they have malteasers, orange ones, minstrels, toffee and yucky raisins (proper fruit in chocolate - bit of a swizz).

Not many people seemed to like the coffee things, sher. I quite liked them though.
