I know you can get stick on keyboard letters for a keyboard. We had them at school for visually impaired users. There are all sorts. Black on yellow background, black on white, large print etc. I can't remember the stockist but it might be googlable...................stick on keyboard letters.

Here's one website, emmie. They are good. They don't start peeling off after a while.

Is your keyboard an HP one? I've had several over the years and the lettering has worn off. I use a permanent marker pen to go over the letters not that I need to know as I'm a touch typist but OH isn't! Also used the sticky backed lettering you can get but like you I'd like something more permanent, hope you manage to find something, if you do can you post back as to what you get please emmie?
