Broken Cling Film

Any good tips at how to fix cling film when it splits into sections besides binning it!!

I would suggest that it is either an inferior brand/product or that it has lost its stretch properties due to age.
The supermarket own-brand cling film that I use has to be cut from the roll with scissors; the serrated box edge is useless.

I have a holder for my kitchen roll and cling film. I have seldom had the problem that I have asked about but when I do get it, it is always nice to know if there is a trick to get it unrolling properly again.

You can make the problem by dropping the roll and making a dent in it...that is enough to create the problem.

I've always found that carefully unrolling the two separate sections together eventually gets back to a point where they join up again.
