I notice the grass getting long on our wee 10 metre square lawn, but is it still too early to cut it?

Is it not like a sponge at the moment?
Mine is an instant mudbath as soon as I step on it.
It all depends on how damp your grass is. I have heard mowers already but we have not cut ours yet.
According to Dr. D.G. Hessayon in The Lawn Expert, the lawn can be given an occasional light 'topping' in early winter when the weather is mild.
If the soil is very wet, of course, leave it to dry out a bit first.
my lawns never looked better lovely and green dare not mow it though too wet
Must be still too wet, my gardener hasn't been round and he doesn't like to miss out on any money to be made.
Well if you don't cut it soon, it will be too dark.

Yeah, might wait til tomorrow and if it doesn't rain I might take off the lowest setting on the Flymo.
