Furnisher polish works for me.
You can buy a screen cleaner for LCD and other televisions, quite expensive but apparently lasts for ages, comet, pc world, wilkinsons.
I get mine at Poundland, they work well.
I wipe mine over with a well wrung out damp cloth then polish with a lint free cloth.

has the best solution,
dont use furniture polish! with both my lcd sets ive had a screen cleaning cloth included with the sets, just dampen it
asda sell a pack of 28 glass and surface wipes think they cost 99p
A damp cloth, followed by a lint-free cloth to dry it off with, usually works OK, but you have to be quick at wiping dry, otherwise you will get smears. Just do a small area at a time, don't try to clean the whole screen at once.

my husband worked for a tv manafacturer and they always used mr muscle window cleaner on the screens before they were boxed up
" mr muscle"! maybe when they were glass screens on the "old-fashioned" sets , but there not glass now ! and all made in Asia so do not use anything like that on a tv screen. as said on here a damp cloth and a dry tissue
no they were not making them in asia and no they were not the old fashioned glass screen they were being made in england up until 4 years ago until a well known firm closed down the factory and moved all production to japan
Please can I ask what can I use on my laptop screen?
Screen & glass cleaner usually work for laptops.
Thank you ;-))
An LCD screen is plastic while a plasma screen is glass.

Do not use anything except a damp cloth on LCDs. I would definitely not use glass cleaners as these often contain solvents.
