No power to kitchen appliances.

Completed on a house yesterday and electrics were fine. All I've used is lights and hoover but there is no power to kitchen appliances today. Nothing appears to have tripped when I look at the fusebox. Any ideas, please?

Are you sure there isn't another consumer unit somewhere, something like a sub-main supplying the appliances?
Either that, or a very loose connection somewhere.
Appliances below the worktop often have a switched spur above the worktop to turn them on and off ??
