Seen the cradle snatching post but would like to ask another interesting "would you".
Would you go out with somebody who had the same name as your mum/dad? as I am going out with somebody who has the same name as my mum at the moment and I feel very weird about it.

Why would you feel weird about that? Especially as I imagine you probably just call your mum, Mum.

Interesting. My daughter is married to someone who's sister has the same name as her and because the sister isn't married, they share the forename and surname. Will ask my son-in-law his view on that.

I don't think it would bother me at all. I like my Dads name...it's my OH's middle name.

It is bloody awfull.
