Hi all
Have just "cleaned up" our block paved path in the garden and now want to resand it. Does anybody know if there is a weedkiller that could perhaps be added to the sand before brushing in to prevent any further weed growth ?
TIA

You could mix the sand with salt.
Have you thought of using a mastic or grout instead? Salt would only last until rainwater dissolved it all away.
Have just done our indian sandstone with an epoxy 2 part grout. Its not cheap but will keep some of the weeds back...you wont eradicate them all because airborne surface seeds will always germinate in cracks......dont know if it will work with blockpaving but worth a look as it wont wash out with a jetwash

Thanks for the replies - it would take me forever to grout the path though !!

The crystals are swept into the cracks and left to air cure.....as you would with kiln dried sand.
