smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?
TIA

I just clicked on an ad by mistake, did the back button fast and got an afterimage in my mind of the ad....It was a wooden shed sale and I misread it as a wooden leg sale.....
haha...lol woofy, I just catch things out of the corner of my eye & misread them all the time on here. Anyone with a wooden leg's probably got wet rot after the weekend.

As the Derbyshire folks say, aye, it's been grand here...one man and his mower has been and it all looks lovely...apart from weeds springing up now.
Have spent all day looking for a dress or an outfit, grrr, nothing nothing nothing! Any that I try on make me look like my mother and the damned bazooms are a blimming nuisance. Trying another area of Eastbourne tomorrow, mightily fed up!

Hope all Ok not had chance to look through the posts yet!¬
Can anyone remember ages ago, someone put a link to a lovely silky frilly trouser ensemble, and jude and both liked it,?? well I need it now, memories anyone???
I think it was me Neti, but I think it may have been an American website.

I finished my willow fence today, it means that the dogs can come in and out of my potting shed but still keeps them away from the tortoise assuming its ever fine enough for tort to be outside. I also had a play with my new sewing machine, I bought it two years ago and have only just got it out of the box. Smarty pants me thought I could do it all without the manual...and actually I did except threading the needle was a real struggle...then I check the manual and find that it has auto threading d'oh!!
oh, does the machine say "For God's sake woman, stop messing about and give me that thread"? Or does it just flash up signs saying "rtfm"?

Looks like I'm going to have all sorts of weather where I'm going... there's rain, there's showers, there's rain, there's thunder, there's drizzle, there's more rain.

Considering Christ's robe is on show, you'd think someone up there would do more to make a comfortable experience. At the very least put the sacred umbrella on show too.

jno it just sits there and sniggers quietly.
I just watched Vera..its good but a bit depressing, Lewis and Midsomer are more jolly.
Are you actually going to view the Tunic?
yes, why not, as long as the queues don't go for miles in the rain. It's not the reason we're going, though, we didn't even know about it. I don't really fancy a pilgrimage, especially if you have to go all the way on your knees.

amazing video here

apparently the Robe itself is not actually displayed...very strange decorations on the reliquary
allegedly this is one of the rare occasions when they take it out... the last ones were 1933, 1959 and 1996. The emperor had a look at it in 1512, so this is an anniversary. I don't suppose we'll be allowed to try it on, but maybe Kaufhof will sell cheap versions in 4XX
Lol Jno ...knowing the Kaufhof they would do just that .
It looks very interesting though .Now how do they actually know it's Christ's robe ? You could always ask in R&S .
You have to get down on your knees first though to she who must be obeyed ;-)
A sewing machine Woofy ..you are brave .I think the last time I used one of those was at school .I've got mothers old Singer on display though and I dust it from time to time .Lol.
Oight Oight ..sleep toight

This one is designed for idiots like me, it has a speed governor on it so you can make it go at a snail space no matter how hard you press the pedal. My mum gave me her old singer but I burned the motor out.
I will need sommat to do tomorrow because the weather doesn't look conducive to gardening...it started raining here around 20.00 and the forecast is horrible yet again....oh well at least we get a lie in
Oight oight
Good morning,

Derby is featuring live on BBC breakfast this morning. I think I spotted Jude and Robinia jumping up and down waving behind the reporter this morning at 6.00am!!

Wet again this morning. Yesterday was summer, today it's back to winter!!

See you later. x

Good morning all what a strange night...It was very wet here then about 1 am, there was this one HUGE gust of wind which woke us all up. it felt like the start of a storm but there was just this one gust. Anyway we got up and had tea and biscuits and waited to see what would happen and went back to bed around 2. Its pouring here now. Shughy has gone back to bed, Rab has his head out the door. I need to shop today so will be mooching out later
gah, wet here again and going to be wet whether I stay here or go to Germany and shelter under the holy umbrella. Global wettening, that's what it is.
Morning all...
yes, it's back to the cold and wet... [i]<tut>[i]...no one will see me jumping up and down in Derby today...or probably any other day. :o)

Neti - I can't find any holy robes (hmmm?) but Ive found the link Lottie posted. It looks like it would take about 8 weeks to have it made and there'd be no guarantee it would fit or you would like it..

Maybe woofy will run you something p, I've got some old curtains :o)
* up

this keyboard misses letters
Obviously made in China and they do make clothes very well, but I would hesitate because of the time factor. If it worked out it's a very good price. I love that outfit!!
