Don't remember who it was - but taking a stab at Sherrard re her hassle with above pharmacy.

Am just in from grocery end - and went over to self serve - girl came over - do you want me to help - she put them through but was called away momentarily so I went on to pack and she said to me hope you packed them nicely - no I didn't - I just threw them in - oh she said you have left potatoes to the end.

She went back to my back unpacked the lot so the potatoes could go to the bottom of the bag. Wasn't that kind?

Maggie not interfering for me - as I was carrying another bag of shopping from another shop so needed her help bigtime.

Do loathe putting everything away but what I do I put meat in fridge any old way and next day put in uniform and freeze. Don't get myself - do it in bits and pieces.

Now I get it Zacs - famine well over as we are spoilt for choice re potatoes - I go for Roosters for creamed or mashed. And Kerrs Pinks for chips. Not that I have done my own chips for a while.

Ooh no Conne. You don't want to be messing with chip pans. My mum nearly burnt our house down using one when I was about 7.

Connemmara I've just posted a new thread about someone being nice to an elderly lady in Morrison's, there must be something in the air. Its so nice to see people being kind and courteous for a change too many scowling faces these days.

I burnt my attic down in 1993 when I went up to look for a handbag with a lighter and the lot went up - fire brigade was here in 4 mins - not too much damage just xmas stuff and a wooden crib. I tried to put it out tho and burnt most of my hands but they healed well - the following week I flew to America for 6 weeks. I was looking for this handbag thinking my passport was in it. All along the bloody passport was in a bedroom drawer. Wanna know of my cat lives. Way too many to mention LOL
