Sweet Pepper plant.

Hello,i bought a sweet pepper plant from a boot sale a few weeks ago,now it's about 2 feet high.I know i should have planted it in a larger container,but didn't know if it would "take".Do the peppers turn red? i have quite a few on there. Thank you for any answers.

They'll turn red eventually. It's probably not too late to repot

Thank you for your answer,i think i'll lose the peppers if i try to re-pot it.
My are still green CatGirl & they're in a bigger pot. Must be the cr@p weather
Mine didnt turn until way later than this lasyt year -plenty time.Have you got it on your window sill?
You won't lose the peppers if you report, not if you do it carefully.
