Thursday.

Overcast here, but it's not raining. That's probably waiting for me to go out. The delights of Stroud today. i might have a look in the museaum if I have time. It's in a beautiful setting, worth a visit just for that.

Stop at the farm for some ptoatoes on the way back, see what veg is in while I'm at it.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning ark. Nice to see you. I'm fine thanks...I think! :o}

It has indeed been a long time.

I but the majority of my produce direct from the farm. It doesn't come any fresher that that. I also have a good natter while I'm at it. All the farm dogs know me well and I get the 'Big welcome' from them. It's the most enjoyable why to go shopping. Cheaper too.

How are you keeping?
morning boaty xx ark xx welcome Lunol xx

Morning minty. xxx How are you this morning, not forgrtting mum of course?
WBM, good to hear. A lot of my produce also comes from a farm...Tesco. Lucky you on that one mate. I'm good thanks (family are as well) I'm off to see a German Sheppard (Bro's Dog) at dinnertime. He always leaps up and treats me like I've ascended from the Gods. Such a lovely welcome... until I say 'do you want to go to the shop or walkies' he sits on best behaviour then... knowing I will do either.
feeling a lot better antibiotics doing the trick..out shopping today with mum and eats out..
Good morning to you murraymints, that does sound good on both accounts.

Well done minty. Don't overdo it mind. Or I'll be on your case! :o}

ark it's so much fresher and it's organic, so it tastes better too. The farm I get my eggs from is never a quick visit, I've got to go and visit all the animals, the goats are great fun! They can be such comedians! I get an escort of four dogs, all wanting sattention too. I love it! The first time I had to go without Vera, the dogs kept going to the car to see where she was.
nothing strenuous...church of ALDI ..and onto wetherspoons in Musselburgh for eats....an old converted cinema.all art deco inside ..good food reasonably priced...mum likes it there as they have Merlot on tap !! lol
Question Author
The farm I get my potatoes from also produces beef, I get that from my butcher just round the corner here, the egg farm also produces pork, also from my butcher. I'm havin g some of that today.
Question Author
I wish I could join you minty, that sounds lovely. I love the Art Deco period.
miss Norfolk for the farms..there were dozens of trestle tables roadside with honesty boxes for veg and eggs...nobody seemed to abuse it either...tatties..sweetcorn..beetroot..cabbage..carrots..swede..leeks..onions.. anything you wanted really..then again in the summer months ..strawbs...
Morning good people, hope all are well.
morning Oz xx
Love the hat Minty

Afternoon oz. All well mate? We've missed you for a couple of days.

minty we saw all that when we visited reatives of Vera's in Norfolk, we always did a round of shopping on the way home.
that's my "come on Andy " hat !!!
Question Author
:o} minty it was all that frsh produce in Norfolk that made us start looking around here. The Farmer's Market in Stroud is rated the best in the country. That's where we started, got to know the farmers and found they didn't mind us going to the farms.
