I have a shady border containing about a dozen Hostas which I will be moving to other people's gardens and pots this Winter. I am getting impatient and want to start the job next week. I think that if I soak the border well over the next few days and dig up the plants, putting then in plastic bags keeping plenty of soil on them I can get away with it. What do you think.
I need to get on with the change now whilst this better weather is with us. Cheers Chris
