I bought the above narcissus for my wifes birthday and they have performed well with lots of blooms. They are in a pot and the bulbs are well above the surface and very crowded. I thought that narcissus and daffodils should be planted about 4-6 inches in the ground. So my question is,when the time comes to plant them out into the garden do I keep them so crowded or spaced out. Also how deep should they be,if at all.
Many thanks for any replies.

Tete a Tete are quite small bulbs so you can plant them slightly closer in the garden. I tend to plant them in groups of three and about 3 inches deep on a small layer of grit.
Ordinary size Daffodils and Narcissus I plant about 4-5 inches deep. enables me to plant my annuals without digging in to the Bulbs which I leave in all year round.
A belated Happy Birthday to you Keenonist!!.
I think you will almost here the bulbs sigh with relief, once taken from the pots and separated, then planted in the garden at the suggest depth and spacing's.

Best leave the leaves to die back naturally for a good show next year!

Good Luck!
