Blackberry bush

Blackberry bush in back garden is full of fruits but a lot of the red ones which have ripened into black ones also have small sections of pale pink on them

Never happened in previous years.

Anyone know what causes this, and are they still safe to eat?

If they are more than 50% black, they should be fine.
