Mine has gone a little wild and brown
Should I cut it back and if so when?

So envious that you have some Shamrock. Granda used to send it over every year from Bray. Suggest you split it up and try different ways of preserving. Me, would go for chopping off and see what happens.

I think I am going to have to try quite radical pruning
I was so surprised to see how well it did as I grew it from seed and I am no gardener but it was very abundant and now has died back
