What can I compost?

I have found some old bread flour and yeast (Not eating as much bread as previously) Can I throw them on the compost heap??

you can, but be prepared for it to ferment and smell to high heaven

Thanks both might add a bit at a time!!
Never add cooked foods to your heap, as you will attract vermin. You can add anything that grows but not deep rooted weeds.
