Sweet Peas

My sweet peas are now about 3ft up their poles, but all the leading shoots seem to have been munched away, and the few flower stems I have got have dead heads.
They,ve had slug pellets around them, but we've are getting quite a few pigeons around this year. Does anyone think they might be biting the tops off. I haven't seen them round that area, and they seem to be well fed from my wifes bird table anyhow.

It's possibly small birds, they do seem to like to peck at sweet peas.
You're lucky to have got them to 3ft, mine have given up the will to live in all the rain and lack of warm sun.
Well I am not having much luck with my flowers this year, they are just standing there just as i put them in weeks ago! But what a year for the SLUGS! The biggest and best I have ever seen ! They looked just like a moving carpet on the garden path yesterday.
