We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

Morning all
Brrrr it's a chilly one .-2c out there .A flea wouldn't stand a chance. Bright though.
Hope you're all ok.
Morning...just.
It's a bitter wind out there, glad I piled on the layers to go shopping.
We've just had a short passing hail shower.
I think it's going to be stewsday...look out for low flying carrot slices, I'm not very good at chopping. :-/
rough winds are shaking the darling buds of March. I went out to take photos of some blossom this morning - it's absolutely lovely, but there was this long, thin, boack cloud moving so it was always right in front of the sun. Fortunately the park benches were all fitted out with little pedals sunk into the ground in front of them so I was able to pedal to keep myself warm (and fit).
actually, that would be a black cloud. Here's the blossom (I hope)

It's bloomin' freezing here in site of the brilliant sunshine.
The wind is bitterly cold .
That's a lovely picture Jno.Are those alamanchia ? If so my one tree is hardly in bud.
Yes I'm looking forward to those Neti.I'm running out of things to watch if there's not much on tele. I've just finished watching the box set of Boardwalk Empire which I've had for ages and never got round to.It was very good.
I'm not sure, shaney, I didn't look closely as I was standing well back, but they looked like the trees in our street, and when I last looked up those ones up they were some sort of flowering cherry.
goodness that’s a lovely photo! I think its cherry, amelanchier flowers later. We spent today sorting the garage out a bit and pulling out the stuff needed to re fence the tortoise pen and put up a post for the outside camera I had it fixed to the fence last year but it wasn’t high enough to see the whole pen. It was cold out there but warm enough while we kept moving....then out of nowhere about 5pm we had a massive hailstorm which wasn’t forecast...blooming Stella.
they promised us thunder showers today, but they obviously got lost down on the coast. It's been nippy but not thundery at all.

Supposed to be rainy tomorrow morning, as we are going to Stateleigh Holme.
Morning...stupid big pc kept crashing so now I'm on my fiddly kindley.
Stunning pic jno, yes, looking at the trunk bark I'd say flowering cherries. Such a shame the blossom is over so quickly.

Lousy grey and windy one here, rf of 2C...woolly vest back on. :(
We had a heavy shower of sherbet pips yesterday afternoon.
Morning all. Lovely, sunny and warm here, landline phone is not working and neither are either of the extentions, technician coming at 5pm. I changed the cables and adapters but nothing, if its their fault its free if not its 100€. But we still have internet!
Went out and bought 3 summer tops, more like mini dresses or tunics. Had a couple of coffees andmthen walked a fairr way to the biggest supermarket to get a ready meal for me tonight as I do not want more stew. Yes ready meals here now, there's
Arroz a banda which ive bought, it's rice in the colours of the spanish flag, the other day i had prawn tikka masala and rice, and theres spag bol, paella and a few others so things are looking up,indeed. Mr N refuses to eat them,

Hello all
Ooh lovely Neti .You're now a fully paid up member of the prick and ding club.
Bloomin' cold again and the wind is really biting .
Hope you have a good day Jno .I've been to the Stayat Holme today.Plenty of old museum pieces to look at :)
Hope the rest of you are Ok .
Two landlines working but main one ***. So I've been switching phones and plugging in and changing over, took forever.
Yes prick and ding club, I am well pleased!!
Awful news in London. My nephew works there but is safe. Horrible horrible people!!
The prick and ding meal was awful!!!
I was strolling round a country estate at the time and didn't find out till I got home. But I've lived through the IRA, I'll manage this. At least I don't have to phone friends and family round the world assuring them there were millions of people between me and the latest atrocity.
unpleasant day here. Rain swept in at 4 am and lasted till mid morning. Dogs not happy so we watched junk tv until it was all over then we spent a sleepy day. Its been bitter cold too. Yes terrible happenings in London but I suspect its just one sad individual rather than a planned terrorist attack.
Yes I've survived the Boat show bombing and an Eta bombing in Javea, when ever I'm in Pacha I have a small wobble at the crowds (3.000 +)and no doors and then I think no way, and I enjoy myself. You can't let them win!
