We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

Morning all
Dull and chilly.
Yes he is a lovely Santa. He used to do it for the Rotary Club years ago when he was in the police force on their sleigh which goes round town and then on to the hospital for the childrens ward.He popped into us once and my Mum was with us for dinner and said how on earth did I get Santa to visit. She didn't realise it was him.
It's given him a bit of a boost to feel useful as well.
Hope you're all ok .Nothing doing here .

I watched an old Lucy programme last night, shaney, on Mozart's year in London. She only got to try on one 18th century dress, though, and she didn't explain why she was doing it.
Evening all. I'm glad your bro is being Santa. Must help take gia mind off for a while.
Yes I too watched Vic Wood last night, I love her brlliant woman.
I plucked up courage and drove to the new lidl, I missed the entrance so parked in a painters yard. Bought 2 tops, a dress, a lovely sparkly swearwe and velvet leggings. Then I had to do all sorts of maneuvers to get back onto main busy road but was so pleased that I had done it. This Thursday they are getting small gallegan turkeys so well try to get one.

I must have missed that Jno.
She's only dressed as a serving wench in the wives programme which is not up to her usual standard imho.I liked the programme she did about the history of dance some time ago now with Len Goodman,Dancing Cheek to Cheek ,I think it was, where she dressed up in different clothes. She did a mean charleston.
Fell asleep watching Last Tango. Was it any good and worth catch up ?
I've managed to find season 4 of A Place to call Home from Acorn and am riveted. The actress who plays the family matriach is such a good actress, an australian version of our Dame Maggie as the dowager.Scheming and waspish.
The clothes ,the cars, scenery and sound track are great.Must watch just one more episode before bed.I'm hooked :)
Night all.
it was quite interesting, shaney. Apparently made this year but the Radio Times said it was an R. About Mozart's year in London when he was 8. He started off playing for George III, but the English were too cheap to sponsor him and he ended up playing in an East End pub for money. But he did compose his first symphony here (only 10 minutes, things were shorter then.)

Apparently Lucy also has a series called A Very British History coming up. This should have lots of costume opportunities. She has been a busy little bee this year.
Morning...weather as per...

Snap! shaney, I nodded off during Last Tango, I was so tired. I did wake up to see about the last 10 mins. I'll whizz through the catch up because pt 2 is tonight at 9.

I'd better keep moving, I'm in danger of seizing up. The good news is I thought it was Wednesday so I only need to panic small time instead of big time stylie.

Morning all
Bit of a chilly one ,only 3C.
I'll look out for the new series Jno. The Mozart sounds good.
I think I'll have to flick through Last Tango too or I won't know what's going on .I missed a big chunk of it.I hate dropping off like that 'cos then I'm wide awake at the wrong time.
Better go and do some odd jobs I suppose but more tea first.Pip pip for now.
Its not just grey here today, its black :(
Sorry I did post earlier but post is so slow here. I loved Last Tango but think I also dozed off. Drizz and mizz here. Added more lights to the tree as one lot stopped working. Managed to get bedding dry and ironed. Been trying to connect a DVD and USB for a spare TV for the kitchen but its beyond me. Same as trying to recorded DVD on win 10. Sitting doing crosswords.
hello, who's this just joined our local workforce? Must be one of them immigrants

Cleaner. Neti, 07881 ******. Can work Tuesdays and Thursdays; £10 / hour rate. "Hard worker, trustworthy, good English" Recommended by member no 401
What are you on jno?
Some well fermented liqueurs from the brantub circa 1962 I think neti
Thank you for reminding me about last tango. I have downloaded ep 1 and will save both to watch with sis.....looks like Neti has a doppelganger!
it's from our local newsletter, neti.
Morning all...Miss Havisham here. When I brushed my hair there was a cobweb in the brush :)

haha, neti's been rumbled. Now we know why she's so tired. I'm tired, I woke up every couple of hours last night and at quarter to six I woke with such a start, I swore the doorbell had rung. It hadn't. I hate it when that happens.

First day of winter...pah!
Hello all neti the nutty cleaner here! Can hardly cope with this small villa let alone clean for others!
Drizz and mizz and cold here. Bought some grey leggings to go with grey sparkly top to wear at Xmas. Just made some Cornish pasties. They look awful but then I don't eat them anyway!
Didn't the Neti ad, continue "blonde, 48" chest, language not necessary, anything considered. Whips provided!"
Question Author
Haha ..Neti that made me laugh .I need whipping into action:)
Afternoon all
Mizz drizz day ,getting dark already .
I'm much more organised than usual with Christmas which must be a first in this house.I just watched the Dad's Army film on Acorn .It was daft but I enjoyed it.You need something to laugh at with all the doom and gloom that's going on in the world .
Hope you're all Ok .Four more sleeps !
Mr N ate his pasties without a word apart from saying that they were nice! I seem to have lost the cooking plot ATM. I ate a prawn mayonnaise sandwich, memories of my working lunches in London in the late 60s!
Still pouring down so tv goes on the blink, hopefully the one on tablet will play ok!
Don't think I can be bothered with Lucy tonight, not in the mood!
