We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

You seem to be up and down like Tower Bridge Neti .Definitely something not right with you.Make sure they check your thyroid levels...are you listening :)
Yes I saw the trailer for Last Tango .I thought at first it was going to be a new series .Dr Blake Mysteries are back in the afternoons .I wonder if he will marry Jean ,it's about time he did.
Good evening...tried to post earlier but as per usual this site barely moves on the kindle.

Neti you're going to have to slow down, none of us want to say we're elderly or geriatric but unfortunately we are.... erm....gettinonabit. Hope you get sorted on Wednesday. listen to shaney :)

Not done anything noteworthy today. Apart from the short time I spent reluctantly pushing the vac around I just haven't been able to get warm again. Bumping the heating up doesn't seem to have any effect, I think it's the atmosphere. I just feel dizzy and my brain shuts down. The met forecast says fog all day tomorrow....very apt.

Chs on tst and jm trts I think, don't feel like eating much.
I think there is a new series due next year Shaney (last tango) I will probabaly get taken away to a maximum security health farm for posting this but I have been drinking lucozade lately and its really helped. Stomach is settled and I have more energy and sleep better
Ah lucozade. I wish!
Yes I am due a thyroid check amongst others.
Woofgang, many years ago I was took ill in the desert; I couldn't even keep water down. But the local cola was fine, stayed down and calmed my stomach. I suppose it was the carbonation, or whatever Syrians use for their fizzy drinks. (Might have been camel dung for all I know, but it worked.)
Morning...is there anybody there? It started off clear but we're slowly being shrouded by the fog. I won't be going out in it, there must be something lurking in the freezer and a friend brought me two slabs of chs from sainsburys yesterday so I'll survive another day.

Lucozade reminds me of being in hospital and one evening a woman down the ward had 17 bottles after her extensive family had visited. We were in hysterics..... unfortunately she was in for stomach problems. It hasn't been the same since they stopped wrapping it in orange cellophane.
I like ginger ale when I feel off it....just added it to my shopping list. Thinking about it I suppose I could do an online grocery shop.

Morning all. I feel so much better but still taking it slowly. I've managed some washing as I need PJs.
Yes I am drinking cola at the moment. Everything else tastes bitter. When Hija was very ill as a child it was recommended both at she drink cola and eat crisps when she could.
I used to love the squeaky rubber top on the Lucozade.
I've just watched "Sully" starring Tom Hanks. What a brilliant film. All about the plane that landed on the Hudson river. Now when I fly I'm getting an aisle seat near to an exit. Preferable with Tom Hanks!

Hello all
Brightened up now but it ws a real pea souper earlier .
I like Lucozade but it's not the same as it used to be .Flat coke and salty pretzels are what my mum in law always had for upset stomachs.
I love Tom Hanks Neti ,he's one of my favourite actors. He's in that film Bridge of Spies which you sent me and is based on the real story of the spy swap during the cold war.It was really good.
I'm off to watch Dr Blake ....be good and...

I hope so, I hate this, I want my social life back.
Saw a lady locum. She was super. Some sort of virus. I've had a non dizzy injection in my bum and have dizzy pills for 10 days and diazapam (huh!) To relax me!! Me? The most laid back person here! She attached me to every wire and machine they had.

Afternoon all
Bit of a dull day but not so cold .Hope you get on alright Neti and thanks for that .I've got some DVD's to watch atm but when I run out I'll give you a shout .I did see a trailer for a film with Brad Pitt ( I think ) set during the war and his wife is supposed to be a spy .I'm not sure what it was called now.
Well girls I still have pulling power :) Crawling back from the High St, a very nice chap was sitting in a BT van as I wobbled with my stick towards the park with me shopping. As usual went for a couple of things and came back loaded and that hill is a killer for me.
He opened the van door and asked me had I far to go.I said just over the park ,the house opposite, and he lugged my shopping across and put it on the step for me .What a lovely man .There are nice people in the world .
Question Author
That's good Neti .Let's hope it does the trick .Feel better soon xx
Ha jealous much! I had an awful time getting back up the hill. Luckily Mr N was with me.
She attached me to every wire and machine she had!! But seemed pleased I was alive!
